Techcrunch recently wrote an article on proximity, concluding that proximity (and beacons) have been successful in showing its potential in commercial settings, but that innovation and use cases of value will lie in the enterprise domain.

And although we agree fully that enterprise will be hugely important, we can with a high degree of certainty say that commercial applications are continuing to thrive, as clearly demonstrated in our quarterly Proxbook Reports and through our partnerships with some of the 60 biggest proximity companies in the world.

So, without further ado, I quickly compiled 55 exciting proximity use cases as a gift from our Proxbook partners, with more appearing every single day. Christmas came early this year.
