To better understand human behavior during wildfire events, we wanted to implement a different data collection method than those used in past studies. We hypothesized that mobility data would provide us with new insights into human movement during a catastrophic event, which could help facilitate emergency planning and management.

Through the use of location intelligence, we were able to develop a new methodology to analyze human behavior during wildfires and gain insight into residents’ evacuation decisions. The results of our study can help to advance the research of modeling and analyzing evacuation behaviors during natural hazards.

It shouldn’t be static. That creates a stronger network between the firms and we both become critical in some ways to each other. Otherwise, it’s just a vendor-buyer relationship which is not super healthy.

I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who has retail or a physical presence. I think it's that missing piece of the puzzle that marketers are often kind of on the hook for, but don't really know how to get and have to make a lot of assumptions.

The latest Unacast trade areas by zip update has been a game changer. It is important because it makes it easy to see where the majority of our customers are actually coming from so we can target by zip code…then we start to think about target audiences and get into Spatial AI and selecting audiences to export to our campaigns.
